- 1/2 frozen banana, sliced
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Paleo Power or Plant Power chocolate protein
- 3 T cacao powder (or nibs)
- 3 drops stevia
- unsweetened almond milk
Cut the avocado in half and pit. Add the ingredients to a high-powered blender. (I love my NutriBullet). Add a small amount of milk to start. Blend. Add more milk as needed to blend but keep thick. Pour into two small bowls. Refrigerate if saving for later. Top with nuts or berries. Yum!
Eat fat to lose fat. Your sugar impact of this treat will be minimal thanks to the healthy fat and the protein. You could even have this as a part of a healthy breakfast.
